Audrey Brodlie

Audrey uses a child centered approach to meet academic, behavioral and social-emotional goals. By establishing safe and positive relationships, Audrey analyzes student strengths while simultaneously addressing their challenges to close learning gaps. With over eight years experience as a learning specialist and a Master's degree in Special Education from Bank Street College and an advanced certificate in School Building Leadership from Manhattan College, Audrey is working as a learning specialist, tutor, and consultant to support remote, hybrid, and in person learning. Her classroom and administrative experience in special education supports the individualized work she does with children and all members of a child's team including families, related service providers, and teachers/school building personnel in order to increase a child's confidence and gain a better understanding of their own learning profile. Areas of expertise include child development, attention challenges, dyscalculia, learning differences, literacy development, and executive functioning skill development. Services include individual student sessions; collaboration with other specialists; parent sessions; and supporting school-based teams, teachers, or tutors.
